DAY 4 WE ARE GETTING EXCITEDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta love all three beauties in this photo, especially the four legged one :)

Lots of Canadian geese out and about today, i'm taking that as a sign of good fortune for us!

!!GOLF CART IS READY TO GO!!

wwwwoooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww makes us feel like amateurs...

WE ARE GETTING EXCITEDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While Merry is still relaxing at his "spa therapy centre" until tomorrow, we moved into the Horse Park with all of our stuff! I thought we were traveling heavy until I saw the rig shown above that not only carried 12 horses!! but also enough hay for all of them, 10 people, a golf cart, all of their trunks, AND a massive living quarters.... suddenly i was feeling like i packed pretty light GO ME!

We spent several hours setting up our home for the next week including many items to represent our province and country! Our golf cart was the prime target of Celeste's and Camille's expert decorating skills as it is now entirely covered in Canadian, Quebec, and Venturing hills stickers, flags, and magnets.

Merry was seen by an expert Chiropractor known as Doctor Redmond today. He was a little stiff and tight after the trailer ride but he worked out of it very well and is feeling like a million bucks, which as is rider is EXTREMELY confidence boosting :) its always nice to know your partner is feeling great.

I think every day i am here i get more and more excited to be representing Quebec, and Canada and more determined then ever. I am here to have fun, I am here for the experience, and I am here to do my absolute best and let the chips fall as they may.

Tonight we will sadly be clipping Merry as it is simply too hot to wait till after dressage... fingers crossed the dapples stay, and he still looks handsome as ever!

On our way now to help the fellow Laframboise team unload and unpack as they are just arriving. They were unfortunate enough to get a flat tire on the road, coupled with a 4 am morning I think everyone is looking forward to their beds tonight.

IT IS WAY TO HOT DOWN HERE SO EVERYONE PLEASE CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR COOLER TEMPERATURES!!!!

In barn inspections tomorrow, and so it will begin!!! EEKK!
